Vacancies (Associate Director)

We are actively looking for exceptionally talented and experienced individuals to join our team as Associate Directors. In this case, you work full or part time for the company and get paid in a combination of shares and/or cash. There may not be enough cash flow within the initial years so you will be expected to have enough savings of your own to live on.

As an Associate Director, you will be expected to choose a division among the following; (or propose a new area you wish to develop).

• Funding Sourcing
• Investment Services
• Business Incubation & Venture Capital
• Financial advisory
• Research (Finance & Investment)
• Fund Management
• Financial Marketing etc.

Summarily, you will be expected to;

• Put in place a robust strategy to develop the said division and attract potential clients
• Seek potential partners at local and global level
• Create a portfolio of quality clients both locally and internationally.
• Put in a place a sustainable and optimal revenue generation model over the short and medium term.
• Regular meetings with other Directors within the company, to promote corporate brand, review strategy and maximize the overall value of the company.
• Engage in strategic sales at individual, corporate and institutional level within Cameroon and internationally, etc.

Requirements

To be qualified as an Associate, you must be able to demonstrate that you have skills that are directly relevant to some aspects of the company and possesses at least some experience in the field. You must, therefore, fulfill at least ONE of the following requirements:

• Hold a Master’s degree or an MBA from a good university (preferably from a Business School) in a field of Finance, Investment Banking, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Engineering etc.
• Has relevant experience in a domain that is directly relevant to the activities of our company. Experience at corporate level such as in top tier banking, administration, consultancy, research and education, investment management etc. will be of great importance
• Has the capacity and network to bring significant business opportunities to the company. For example, you may hold a portfolio of high net worth clients that you can bring to the company.
• Willingness and ability to make a financial investment at Standard Financials Limited – Cameroon.
